Pete Waggoner is an industry veteran and well-known voice in the State of Hockey. He has served as the play-by-play announcer for the Edina Hornets, Bloomington Kennedy Eagles, and Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars.
In 1993 Waggoner traveled to Dallas and worked for the Dallas Stars in a number of capacities that included team video, director of retail merchandising and season ticket sales. His love for Minnesota hockey returned him to the state in 1995 where he worked a stint with KFAN as an overnight producer. He also made stops with AM 980 KKMS, AM 1570 and AM 1280.
A goaltender growing up, Waggoner was tutored by the late Warren Strehlow who helped mold his love for the game. Since 1987, Waggoner has coached teams at the youth level ranging in age from Mites to Bantams. He also serves as the General Manager of HatTrick Sports in St. Louis Park.
Join Pete this season as he calls live streaming boys high school hockey games for the MN Hockey Hub and My Fox Hockey.
