are they open to the public? and if so, how much would tickets cost?
Games are underway and open to the public. I'll check on the ticket prices.
The players were told they would know by tonight. Not sure if they are getting called individually or if it will just be posted.
This is really disappointing. Girls were to be posted at noon...Boys tonight. Any idea what the link is? I assumed it was to be on this link.
anyone find a list yet? i heard it was supposed to be on the minnesotahockey.org but nothings there our coach said they would be on by 5
Looks like they are getting closer...there are roster buttons now...no info yet though. http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/page/show/178490-advanced-16-and-17-final-54-2010-?subseason=23278
Rosters all posted here: http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/page/show/178490-advanced-16-and-17-final-54-2010-
The roster for the blue 16s shows steven halappa. Steven is Holappa. It's correct on the excel spreadsheet. Thanks!
Are the rankings of the players (different skills) in advanced ever released so the boys know where they stand and what they need to improve on in the off season? Great experience!!! Thank you.
Hi John,
I don't know about player rankings or how that works. You would have to check with the tournament director on that one. Glad to hear it was a good experience. It was fun to watch, I know that.
You got the goalie stats for the 16U blue team reversed. Dingman gave up 4, not Franke
If your gonna do the stats for the tourney then get it right. For the blue team anders Franke was the one who had 16 saves for the 16's blue, not aaron dingman. The kid had a great outing so you should give him credit for what he did.
I agree. Why in such an important event can't they get the stats correct. I was at the game and Franke played great and had a shutout.
I agree with goaler if your going to do the stats for this tournament you need to get them right. Franke had a outstanding outing and should be credited for his performance not the kid who was on the bench. It shows that he's given up 8 goals when he's only gave up 4. If you change it he's right in the mix with all the 16's goalies.
Hope you cover the Advanced 15 Tourney as there are many jv/varsity and stud Bantam A players playing. I'd love to see those rosters posted.
As a goalie dad whose son was possibly affected by poor stat keeping - week one, reversed stats with the other goalie in one game (resulting in overall stats for the week being 7th or 8th instead of 1st or 2nd); and in week 2 crediting a goal against that was let in by the other goalie (resulting in that goalie's stats being #1 and dipping my kid's stats near the bottom of the pack). In an event like this, goalie stats are important. More important than a missed assist. Thankfully, USA Hockey ev… Read More
Hey stj,
Please let me know which games you are referencing and we can certainly look into them and make any needed corrections. You can e-mail me directly at loren.nelson@tstmedia.com if you would like. Thanks for your help!
Loren,
Thanks for your response and making the changes. Appreciated and keep up the great work with the Hockey Hub.
Hey what ever happen to Tyler Heinonen/ section 2/aa & Evan Hesse/section8aa. I watched them in the 17 Festival and them 2 were on my top 10 players for the tournament. You most of got there stat's wrong because I didn't see them at the final 54. Big mistake!
Hockey Hub should start their own forum. That would make Hockey Hub and one stop shop. I love the Hub with the up to date scores and articles. Add the forum and this would bring everyone here.
I heard of some tournament in Totonto last weekend. There were 3 teams frome Minn. in it. Most of the players were from our high schools. I heard Tyler Heinonen, Mike Sit, Max Berkinbine were on the same team and did quite well. Can you do a little research on this? As far as the final 54 picks are concerned, they missed some very good players. I don't know who does the picking?
