The Hockey Hub will have a great team here Saturday, including myself, writer Mike Murakami and photographer Adam Crane. Also, the Star Tribune's David La Vaque is expected to make the trek north.

And we're getting set up for the 5th annual Hockey Day Minnesota here in Moorhead! Looks like a chilly start, but the temperature will quickly warm into the low 30s. Great weather for watching a game.

About Hockey Day
Moorhead Youth Hockey, in conjunction with FOX Sports North, the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Hockey will host the Fifth Annual Hockey Day Minnesota on Saturday, Feb. 12.
FOX Sports North will broadcast live from Moorhead Youth Hockey's new outdoor arena.
A full day of hockey programming is planned including the following match-ups: Roseau vs. Wayzata, Moorhead vs. Hill Murray, Minnesota Gophers vs. Denver Pioneers, and Minnesota Wild vs. St. Louis Blues.

Looking forward to a great day of games at Moorhead Saturday. Looks like the latest forecast is for a high of about 34 degrees, a few flakes of snow early and some great weather to watch a hockey game outdoors. The temperatures have been below zero up here for the past few days, so the ice should be good and hard, even with the warming trend.
