No. 4 Wayzata at No. 2 Edina
7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6
At Braemer Arena, Edina
MN Hockey Hub Spotlight Game

The Lake Conference title likely comes down to who wins this game, as both Wayzata and Edina remain unbeaten in the circuit entering February. Wayzata is 4-0-1 in conference, while Edina is 3-0-1 after the two teams tied 3-3 back on Jan. 18 in Plymouth. Dylan Malmquist (10-18-28) salvaged the point for the Hornets, scoring a power play goal to tie the game with just 1:37 remaining. Edina does have a head-to-head victory against the Trojans, a 3-1 win in the Turkey Trot way back on Nov. 23, but that game didn’t count in conference standings. Goals should be tough to earn, as both teams are stingy defensively. Edina’s Andrew Rohkohl (14-4-1, 2.13, .917) and Wayzata’s Vaughan Ahrens (12-4-1, 1.45, .936) both rank among the top goaltenders in the state.
