Minneapolis at St. Paul Johnson
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14

A rematch of a Dec. 17 meeting at Parade Ice Garden won by St. Paul Johnson 6-1, this game pits two teams representing a great deal of history, declining numbers and a moderate amount of success this season that each hopes to keep going.

St. Paul Johnson (10-3-1) has been steady through its efforts, anchored by senior goaltender Sam Moberg, who is midway through his fifth year as a starter and enters the week with a 2.13 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage. Offensively, senior forward Tyler Willier has 10 goals and 19 points for the No. 12-1A Governors.

Minneapolis is coached by Joe Dziedic, a former Mr. Hockey from Minneapolis Edison, Golden Gopher and NHL player, has the Novas’ record at 10-6-1.
