Benilde-St. Margaret's at Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6

If the first game was any indicator, then the folks who make the trip to the Eden Prairie Community Center on Saturday night ought to get their money’s worth as No. 3-2A Eden Prairie hosts No. 1-2A Benilde-St. Margaret’s.

The Red Knights (20-0-1) are unbeaten since taking the top spot from Eden Prairie after a 6-5 overtime thriller at home on Dec. 11.

Conversely, Eden Prairie (15-5-2) has been streaky, showing to be a good team one night while looking almost average the next.

The Eagles lost back-to-back games for the first time this season to close last week, dropping contests to No. 10-2A Edina (4-2) and No. 13-2A Wayzata (4-3). Before Saturday's game, Eden Prairie hits the road to face No. 2-2A Minnetonka on Thursday as the Eagles try to get through the toughest portion of the Lake Conference schedule without letting a losing streak develop.

Benilde-St. Margaret's looks to be in fantastic shape heading into February. Senior forwards Cade Gleekel (20-34-54), Auggie Moore (15-21-36) and junior Zach Risteau (13-21-34) continue to lead the way for a Red Knights team averaging 5.52 goals per game.

In net, Ryan Bischel has a 19-0-1 record, a 2.11 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.
