St. Cloud Cathedral travels to St. Paul Academy for a contest featuring teams ranked in the top 5 of the Class 1A coaches' poll, and a game that ought to serve as a good measuring stick for both sides.

St. Paul Academy (2-1) has some prodigious talent in junior forward Devlin McCabe, a Minnesota-Duluth commit, as well as a group of other top returning forwards in Jack Johnston and Matt Dahlseide. Through three games this year, the No. 3-1A Spartans' trio has combined for eight goals.

St. Cloud Cathedral (3-0-1) has produced plenty of offense through the first week of the season, tallying 27 goals from 13 different players.

Tops for the No. 5-1A Crusaders has been freshman forward Nate Warner, who has six goals and has scored in three of the four contests. Senior forward Michael Spethmann has five goals and eight assists to lead the team in points.
