Hill-Murray vs. Edina
7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21

Arguably the state’s top two most successful programs square off for a Saturday night special at Braemar Arena.

Edina (11-3-1, 1-1) continues to improve and mature, boasting a goal differential that is a plus-2 (4.33 to 2.20) despite having one of the state’s toughest schedules.

The No. 3-2A Hornets have not lost since Dec. 17 (to visiting Eden Prairie) and have beaten four of Class 2A's top-15 ranked teams during the stretch. Juniors Lewis Crosby (11-15-26), Sam Walker (13-12-25), senior Bram Scheerer (11-10-21) and sophomore Jett Jungels (12-9-21) continue to score the bulk of the goals for Edina.

Hill-Murray (10-1-3, 6-0-1) averages three more goals per game than its opponents (4.64 to 1.50) this season and have won four straight.

Brock Bremer (11-12-23) leads the No. 5-2A Pioneers in points while Emmet Nath (12-1-13) tops the team in goals.
