St. Paul Johnson vs. Minneapolis
7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21

Two of the three Twin Cities teams face off at Parade Ice Garden on Saturday night as Minneapolis hosts St. Paul Johnson.

The Governors (10-2-2, 0-1-1) are off to a strong start and are getting it done on both ends, averaging 3.64 goals for and a 1.14 goals against. Special teams play has been solid as well, with Johnson killing 94 percent of its penalties and converting at 35 percent with the man advantage.

Senior forward Isaac Moberg (13-8-21) leads the Governors in scoring, while senior goaltender Ezra Weintzweig has been steady with a 10-2-1 record, a .944 save percentage and a 1.22 goals-against average.

Minneapolis (8-8, 1-0) has battled inconsistency and is still upside down in goals differential (3.12 for and 3.25 against).

Minneapolis is led by sophomore alternate captain Jake Hale, a Minnesota-Duluth commit who has 14 goals and 31 points through 16 games.
