Hill-Murray vs. St. Thomas Academy

A pair of tradition-rich programs from the east metro square off for this Saturday afternoon Metro East Conference battle between St. Thomas Academy and Hill-Murray. 

The Cadets fell 2-1 to the Pioneers on Jan. 5, despite outshooting Hill-Murray 27-19. 

St. Thomas Academy (16-4-1, 7-2) has won five in a row, a stretch in which the No. 10-2A Cadets outscored their opponents 31-7. On the season, St. Thomas Academy is averaging 4.90 goals for to 1.62 allowed.

Senior defenseman Robbie Stucker leads the team offensively, recording 30 assists and 36 points this season.

Hill-Murray (14-3-4, 8-0-1) enters the week looking to restore its mojo after two losses and a tie in the last four games. Saturday night’s 2-0 loss at Blaine will have to be quickly flushed, as only four games remain on the schedule.

Senior forward Brock Bremer (15-19-34) continues to lead the No. 6-2A Pioneers in scoring this season, and fellow senior Kyler Yeo (10-17-27) is approaching 30 points for the season.
