White Bear Lake vs. Centennial
4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7

Centennial (16-4, 8-2) has won four straight and nine of its last 10 games, and the Cougars have shown no signs of slowing down heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

Lucas McGregor (18-17-35) leads No. 8-2A Centennial in scoring, and in net, a two goalie rotation continues to serve the Cougars well. Travis Allen (2.33 goals-against average, .899 save percentage) and Bryce Crowley (1.62 GAA, .922 save percentage) have shared duties with about a 60/40 split in minutes favoring Allen.

White Bear Lake (11-6-3, 8-3-1) enters the week ranked No. 16-2A after a string of inconsistent results. The Bears upset then top-ranked Stillwater 2-1 on Jan. 14, but have won only two of six games since.

Time is winding down in the regular season, and if White Bear Lake wants to pick up momentum going into the postseason, a win over a very good Centennial team would certainly get the Bears trending in the right direction.

Junior forward Chase Hamstad (13-24-37) leads the White Bear Lake offense and is averaging nearly two points per game.
