Alexandria vs. East Grand Forks
3:15 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11

The first meeting between Alexandria and East Grand Forks went to the Green Wave, a 4-1 road victory on Dec. 17 where East Grand Forks outshot the Cardinals 30-10.

Although Alexandria (13-6-3, 7-5-1) has lost two of its last three, the No. 8-1A Cardinals are a different team than the one that took the ice during the first meeting, having won 11 of 15 games since Christmas.

Sophomore forward Ben Doherty (15-36-51) has already surpassed 50 points for the season, and senior Mack Strong (22-18-40) continues to put up numbers for Alexandria.

East Grand Forks (12-6-2, 6-1-1) won both of its games last week after dropping a pair of games to North Dakota schools the week before. The Green Wave have not lost a game to a 1A school since falling 4-3 to Greenway on Dec. 10.

Nick Lund (20-10-20) and Hunter Olson (16-13-29) lead No. 6-1A East Grand Forks in scoring, with Lund scoring six goals in his last four games.
