Edina vs. Minnetonka
7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11

Minnetonka hosts Edina Saturday night in another chapter of this Lake Conference rivalry that will have serious implications on section seeding, as all of the Hornets' and three of four of the Skippers' final regular season games are league contests.

Edina (15-6-1, 3-2) had a four-game winning streak snapped with a 4-3 loss to Eden Prairie late last week, and the No. 2-2A Hornets are looking to regain momentum going into the final stretch of the regular season.

The bulk of Edina's scoring is coming from four skaters: Sam Walker (19-20-39), Lewis Crosby (14-20-34), Bram Scheerer (14-17-31) and Jett Jungels (16-14-30).

Minnetonka (12-9, 3-2), lost three straight before securing an 8-2 victory at Hopkins last Saturday. The Skippers will face Wayzata on Feb. 9 before ending conference play against the Hornets on Saturday and Eden Prairie on Feb. 18.

Senior forward T.J. Rogers (14-12-26) has been Minnetonka’s top offensive producer, averaging 1.3 points per game.
