St. Paul Highland Park at St. Paul Johnson
7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18

These St. Paul city programs clash in the regular-season finale, a game that could be a preview of a possible matchup in the upcoming Class 1A, Section 4 tournament.

St. Paul Johnson is back from a weekend trip to the northland that resulted in consecutive losses to Greenway and Virginia. The No. 11-1A Governors (15-5-2) look to rebound in their final three regular season games (all at home), which culminates with a showdown Saturday night against St. Paul Highland Park.

Senior forward Isaac Moberg leads Johnson with 24 goals and 39 points.

The Scots (14-9-0, 7-2-0) are having a remarkable season after collecting a total of 11 victories over the previous three seasons.

This year’s team has benefitted from continued growth and boasts its deepest roster since the program was revived four years ago.

Six different skaters have registered double-digit goals, and five players are averaging more than one point per game. Senior captain Riley Lindstrom leads the team with 10 goals and 38 points.
