Class 1A, Section 6
St. Cloud Cathedral, the defending section champion, received the No. 1 seed in Class 1A, Section 6 on Wednesday in a vote of the section’s 10 coaches.
The Crusaders (17-7-0), who are ranked No. 6 among Class 1A teams in the latest state coaches poll, had an eight-game winning streak snapped on Feb. 10 in a 4-2 loss to Mahtomedi, the state’s No. 2-ranked Class 1A team.
Sartell-St. Stephen (18-7-0) received the No. 2 seed, Alexandria (14-10-1) is No. 3 and Little Falls (11-10-3) is No. 4.
