Class 2A, Section 7
Duluth East received the No. 1 seed in Class 2A, Section 7 on Friday. The Greyhounds (20-2-3), who reached 20 wins for the first time in three years and finished the regular season ranked third in the state coaches’ poll, were slotted first based on QRF.
Andover (20-5) took the No. 2 seed, followed by fellow Northwest Suburban Conference North Division foe Elk River (18-7), which was No. 3.
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (17-7-1) and Duluth Marshall (16-7-2) claimed the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds, respectively, and will face each other Tuesday night.
