Defending section champion St. Thomas Academy (22-2-1) secured the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in Class 2A, Section 3 following a vote of section coaches on Sunday.
Eastview (21-4) took the No. 2 seed, followed by No. 3 Rosemount (20-4-1) and No. 4 Burnsville (10-15).
