Class 1A, Section 4
After falling to just two small school in the regular season, Mahtomedi (18-6-1) claimed the top seed in Class 1A, Section 4 following a vote by the section coaches on Sunday.
South St. Paul (16-9) took the No. 2 seed, and Simley (17-7-1) earned the No. 3 seed.
Fourth-seeded St. Paul Johnson (12-10-3) faces No. 5 Northfield (18-5-2) this Thursday.
