White Bear Lake (20-3-2) claimed its first No. 1 seed in over a decade following a vote by section coaches on Sunday.
The Bears' longtime section rival, Hill-Murray (10-11-4), took the second seed. White Bear Lake won its regular-season meeting with the Pioneers 4-2 on Dec. 23.
Stillwater (12-12-1) and Tartan (17-7-1) took the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, respectively.
