Frisch said he hopes the game provides him the chance to change people’s perceptions about those who stay at home and play for their high school teams.

The North Dakota commit, who posted 12 goals and 36 assists in 59 career games as a Spuds defenseman, wants to show how his time at Moorhead contributed to his mentality and is determined to let scouts know about his “compete level” and that he’s “not really one to give up.”

He also credits his time playing at the prep level for preparing him to jockey for position among more highly touted prospects.
