Nevers was Edina's set-up man in the regular season, where he amassed a team-best 32 assists. He posted two or more assists in seven games, including against Hopkins on Feb. 2. His three assists and one goal helped the Hornets to an 8-2 victory and came two days after Nevers had a hat trick in a 6-4 win over Wayzata. He finished the regular season with 17 goals and 49 points.
