The puck-rushing crowd darling scored game-winning goals against Minneapolis Southwest in the quarterfinals and Roseau in the semifinals while playing all but a minute or so of the two games. He was injured and sent to the hospital on hit by Edina’s Jim Knutson midway through the title game, won 5-4 by Edina in overtime.
