As intense a competitor as Edina has ever produced, Norwich played as fiercely in practices as he did in games. The do-it-all defenseman powered the Hornets to the 1974 championship among his three appearances. Bemidji mustered just 12 shots against the Norwich-led defense in the 1974 title game.
