Speed, speed and more speed. With the back of his jersey flapping in the breeze, Krieger sped to three all-tournament selections in his three appearances. In 1969 he propelled the Hornets to the program’s first championship. Edina reached the title game again in 1970, losing 1-0 in overtime to Minneapolis Southwest.
