Holy Family Catholic vs. Delano

7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14

A few years ago, in an effort to beef up its schedule, Holy Family Catholic dropped one of its two games with each of its Wright County Conference opponents. That makes the Fire’s rivalry with Delano that much more intriguing, given the Tigers agreed to playing just the one game each season inside the frigid confines of the Delano Area Ice Arena.

Tuesday’s matchup figures to be a competitive one. Holy Family Catholic (9-7-0, 4-1-0) is riding a four-game winning streak that includes a recent 2-0 northern trip to Grand Rapids and Coleraine to play Greenway.

Sophomore Arizona State commit Trey Fetchko is the Fire's top scorer with 15 goals, seven more than the team's next highest total.

Delano (10-5-0, 4-1-0) took No. 1-1A St. Cloud Cathedral to overtime on Jan. 9 before suffering a 4-3 loss. Junior Adam Brown has a team-best 14 goals and 22 points.
