“The Super Saturday games are great, because the rinks are small, the crowds are big and parking is manageable,” said Miller, 67.

He’s described as “The Godfather” of the group because of the vast network of high school hockey-related contacts he’s amassed over the years.

Miller doesn’t stop when the high school season ends. He attends Minnesota Hockey High Performance events in the spring, the Bantam Elite League in the summer and the Upper Midwest High School Elite League in the fall, among other tournaments and all-star games.
