No. 18 Eagan at No. 5 Burnsville
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28
At Burnsville Ice Center

Despite a one-goal loss to red-hot Lakeville North two weeks ago, Burnsville remains in the hunt for the South Suburban Conference crown, one game behind North in the loss column. Eagan sits at .500 in conference, an unusual place in recent years for coach Mike Taylor’s program. The Wildcats fell to Burnsville 3-1 on Dec. 14 as Blaze leading scorer Brock Boeser (16-19-35) tallied a pair of goals. Boeser has been terrific all season, notching at least one point in all but one game this year and coming off a three-goal outburst in a 3-3 tie with Eden Prairie. Eagan plays a tight defensive game that has resulted in just 1.85 goals per game allowed. Goaltender Andrew Lindgren (12-7-1, 1.82, .930) has blossomed with full-time duty after sharing time last winter. He’s played all but five minutes in goal this season.
