No. 9 Eden Prairie at No. 2 Edina
7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30
At Braemar Ice Arena, Edina
MN Hockey Hub Spotlight Game

Let’s just get this out of the way. No one plays a tougher schedule than Edina. There, we said it. The Hornets host Eden Prairie on Thursday night in a big Lake Conference game, and it’s the 11th time they’ve already played a team currently ranked in the top 10. In those 10 games, Edina is 6-3-1 but has avenged all three of the losses with victories against the same opponent. Edina has already beaten Eden Prairie, 4-2, in the final game of the Edina Holiday Classic on Dec. 21 behind 29 saves from Andrew Rohkohl (13-4-1, 2.19, .915). The Hornets slowed down Eden Prairie’s pair of likely Mr. Hockey finalists, forward Steven Spinner (15-18-33) and defenseman Luc Snuggerud (7-23-30).
