No. 6-A Totino-Grace at No. 1-A Hermantown
3:15 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1
At Hermantown Arena

How good is Totino-Grace? When the Eagles are good, they’re very good (see a 3-1 victory over previously No. 1-ranked Breck on Jan. 21). And outside of a 4-0 defeat at East Grand Forks to open the season, the Eagles haven’t been overmatched in their losses. The other six defeats have been by two goals or less, including a 5-4 defeat at St. Cloud Cathedral last Saturday in their most recent game. Totino-Grace hasn’t put up big goal totals, but has used a solid defensive effort to remain competitive. That style will be tested by high-powered Hermantown, which hasn’t lost to a Class 1A opponent all season, going 11-0-0 while outscoring them 79-18. Ryan Kero (14-20-34) anchors a Hawks’ offense that has nine players with at least 16 points.
