Luke Levandowski
Rosemount, junior, forward
College: Wisconsin

Great vision, hands and IQ — and deploys them all at top speed. Stats: 28 goals, 23 assists.

Carsen Richels
Blaine, senior, forward
College: New Hampshire

Quintessential power forward. Fast, skilled and a nasty competitor. Stats: 27 goals, 26 assists.

Ben Steeves
Eden Prairie, senior, forward
College: Minnesota-Duluth

Dangerous shooter doesn’t need much room to make teams pay. Stats: 33 goals, 24 assists. 

Jake Ratzlaff
Rosemount, junior, defense
College: Minnesota

Packs a wallop with his size (6-3, 185 pounds) and shot. Stats: Seven goals, nine assists. 

Nate Schweitzer
Benilde-St. Margaret’s, senior, defense
College: Colorado College

Silky smooth defender who added offensive punch. Stats: Six goals, 26 assists.

Carson Limesand
Benilde-St. Margaret’s, junior, goaltender
College plans: Undecided

Handles first shot and anticipates rebounds. Went 15-7-2 with a 2.11 goals-against average, .917 saves percentage, five shutouts.

How the team was chosen

The Star Tribune’s All-Metro teams and Metro Player of the Year were chosen based on nominations from metro-area coaches, conversations with a panel of coaches and staff observations.
