We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

White Bear Lake vs. Forest Lake, 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11. The Suburban East Conference title is still very much up for grabs this year and White Bear Lake (6-2-0), which has benefitted from the return from junior hockey by Bemidji State commit Lleyton Roed (a senior with 7 points in four games), joins Forest Lake (6-2-0) among the top contenders chasing Cretin-Derham Hall in the standings.

Gentry Academy vs. Blake, 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13. Can any team slow the freight train that is No. 2-1A Gentry Academy? Blake (3-3-0) and standout senior goaltender Aksel Reid might offer the No. 2-1A Stars (6-0-0) their best regular-season challenge.
