2. Benilde-St. Margaret's

Loaded with gifted playmakers but two solid goaltenders are just as vital to the Red Knights.

3. Minnetonka

Coach Brian Urick called this Skippers team his most balanced top to bottom.

4. Maple Grove

A wealth of talented veterans aim to atone for two consecutive section championship losses.

5. Hill-Murray

Graduation and other departures thinned the defense but the Pioneers have special players at forward.

6. Eden Prairie

After two Class 2A titles in three seasons, the defending champion Eagles must reload.

7. Blaine

Experience at goaltender and on the blue line will keep Blaine in games.

8. St. Thomas Academy (1A)

Defending Class 1A champs will build around several returning standouts.

9. Breck (1A)

With 15 goals in two games, the Mustangs have the firepower to challenge for Class 1A supremacy.

10. Edina

Two seniors on the roster make the Hornets as green as their uniforms.
