BOYS' HOCKEY No. 1 STA tops Duluth Marshall in OT

ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 4, DULUTH MARSHALL 3 (OT): Senior forward Andrew Commers scored 27 seconds into overtime, lifting the Class 1A, No. 1 Cadets over the No. 8 Hilltoppers in a nonconference matchup. Duluth Marshall tied it at three on junior forward Michael Damberg's goal with 14 seconds remaining.

• BURNSVILLE 5, HILL-MURRAY 2: The Class 2A, No. 10-ranked Blaze caught fire late, scoring three goals in the final four minutes to halt No. 6-ranked Hill-Murray. Seniors Cory Chapman, Jake Senta and Nick Bohn each found the back of the net as Burnsville broke a 2-2 tie going into the third period. Burnsville junior goalie Chris Mallon recorded 27 saves.
