See who fans voted as the top performer from Feb. 7-12.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Hockey Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.

Top performer winner

Tommy Molloy, Roseville. The junior defenseman came through on offense in the Raiders’ 5-4 overtime victory against Irondale on Feb. 10, scoring a season-high three goals exactly when they were needed. With the Raiders trailing by two goals entering the third period, Molloy scored less than five minutes into the third and then again shorthanded just over a minute later. After a teammate tied the game late in the third period and sent the game to overtime, Molloy tallied the overtime game-winner — his first game-winning goal of the season.

Top performer candidates

Eli Fletcher, Prairie Centre. Fletcher led the North Stars to two wins last week with 10 points on the team's 12 goals. The junior forward recorded his 12th multi-goal game of the season on Feb. 8 with a hat trick in the North Stars’ 4-2 victory at Redwood Valley. On Feb. 12, Fletcher tallied four goals and three assists, tying a season-high of seven points in the North Stars’ 8-3 victory against Becker/Big Lake. Fletcher is tied for second most goals in the state this season with 41, and his 54 season points in nearly double that of the North Stars’ second-leading scorer.

Barrett Hall, Gentry Academy. The senior forward, who has points in all but two games this season, recorded 20 points in four games last week for the Stars. He tallied six points each in the first and last games of the week: in an 8-7 overtime win on Feb. 8 at Minneapolis where he scored the overtime winner and in a 7-6 overtime loss where he assisted on a late goal to tie the game and force overtime. He also combined for eight total points in the Stars' other two wins. Hall had four power play points and one goal shorthanded last week.

Tyler Hennen, Kittson Central. The junior forward recorded points on nearly all of the Bearcats’ goals in wins against Lake of the Woods and Park Rapids — both teams that the Bearcats lost to earlier this season. On Feb. 8, Hennen recorded a hat trick and an assist, leading the Bearcats’ 4-for-4 power play with three of his points on the advantage as they defeated Lake of the Woods 6-3. At Park Rapids on Feb. 12, Hennen recorded another hat trick, this time adding three assists as the Bearcats won 7-3. Hennen is averaging 2.96 points per game. His 35 goals and 68 points this season is sixth most across the state.

Jack Thomson, Breck. The senior goaltender, who has faced an average of nearly 40 shots on goal per game this season, earned a huge shutout win against Providence Academy on Feb. 10. Thomson made 47 saves to earn his first shutout — and the team's first shutout — of the season as the Mustangs won 3-0.
