Former Packers coach 'Lefty' Smith dies

South St. Paul legend was inducted into Minnesota Hockey Coaches Hall of Fame in 1992

Charles 'Lefty' Smith, who was instrumental in building the South St. Paul hockey program, died on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at age 81 in South Bend, Ind.
