The Overtime Radio Show recaps a pair of conference games that featured the Lake Conference and South Suburban Conference.
In the first period, the Edina Hornets defeated the Minnetonka Skippers by a score of 3-2 on a late goal by Andy Jordahl with 1:20 remaining in the third period. The see-saw affair was a tense playoff type game played out before a packed Pagel Activity Center crowd.
Joining today's show are both coaches Curt Giles from Edina and Brian Urick from the Minnetonka Skippers. Jordahl shares his thoughts on the game with fellow Hornet players Tyler Nanne and Andy Benjamin.
The Lakeville South Cougars hopped on the back of Justin Kloos who notched the hattrick to lead his team to the 6-3 win over the Burnsville Blaze. Since falling to cross-town rival Lakeville North, the Cougars have won three straight and continue their rise in the conference standings.
Comments from the Cougars players Justin Kloos and Patrick Lauderdale are reported by Michael Murakami. He also picked up coach Kurt Weber's comments.
