Mankato West scored two goals in the last five minutes of the third period to force Faribault into overtime. Faribault recieved a five-minute major with 5:19 left, sending the Falcons on the penalty kill for the remainder of the period. The Scarlets scored twice and won in overtime in the Thursday Jan. 18 matchup at the Faribault Ice Arena.
