The East Grand Forks Green Wave rolled to its first boys hockey state championship in a decade with a 2-1 overtime upset over defending champion and No. 2-seed St. Cloud Cathedral Saturday at Xcel Energy Center.

Senior Jace Van Eps was the overtime hero. Less than two minutes into the extra session, he scored on a sharp-angle shot along the goal line after capitalizing on a rebound chance.
