Mankato East held tough early, keeping the score at just 1-0 before Mankato West broke the game open with five goals in the third to win 6-0 on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the All Seasons Arena in Mankato. The rivalry game was a heated affair with both teams battling for school pride. The Scarlets will now move on to the Section 1A quarterfinals and play Red Wing.
