Dave Coudert, who guided Marshall's Bantam program the past three seasons, has been hired as the Tigers' head coach.
Coudert, who came to Marshall from Omaha, Neb., replaces Kori Pearson, who took an assistant coaching position at East Ridge.
"This was a prime opportunity to jump into a higher level and challenge myself, but also to challenge these kids. I've coached most of these kids, so now it's time to get in there and challenge them and take it to the next level."
Coudert will look to build on a program that saw a consistent level of success under Pearson, but was unable to take the next step forward by making it to the state tournament. Pearson compiled a 128-72-10 record at Marshall over eight years.
