The St. Michael Albertville Knights evened their season record at 2- 2 with a 4 - 2 victory over the Delano Tigers on their home ice. Zach Otts scored to goals for the Knights. Delano junior goalie, Jason Dzurik kept the Tigers in the games with numerous saves as his team played through nine penalties. However, three of STMA’s goals were scored on the power play. John VanDrasek scored the first goal @ 10:29 of the first period. The Knights added a second power play goal at 11:47 of the second period when Tom Kessler positioned himself to the left of the goal and slammed home a pass to make it 2 – 0. The Knights maintained the lead as the teams traded goals the rest of the game. Otts second goal of the game, with 4:42 left, sealed his team’s victory. The loss gives the Tigers a 1-2-1 record going into Saturday’s game at Robbinsdale Cooper. On Saturday afternoon, the Knights travel to Bloomington Kennedy.
