Jacob Walker delivered the pure hat trick as the Rogers Royals pummeled Sauk Rapids-Rice 6-0 on Tuesday evening in Sauk Rapids.

Walker, a senior forward, has five of the Royals’ 10 goals in a 2-0 start. He scored the third, fourth and fifth goals against the Storm.

Jason Robege punched in two goals, one of them on a power play. Dustin Schoepke had the first goal. Nate Weber and Alex Lorman made two assists each. Goalie Brock Maxwell stopped 17 shots for the shutout.

Rogers will play at Princeton on Saturday, 7 p.m.
