Two Shut Outs in a row for Rogers - Wins against MAML & North Branch

The league-leading Rogers Royals posted back-to-back shutouts, 3-0 over Monticelle-Annandale-Maple Lake on Friday and 8-0 over North Branch on Saturday.

The Royals are 7-0 in the Mississippi 8 and 14-3 overall.

Jacob Walker, Nate Weber and Jason Roberge notched the goals against MAML and Brock Maxwell had the shutout with 17 saves.

Against North Branch, Branden Cecil knocked in two goals and Alexander Lorman, Spencer Marchand, Dustin Schoepke, Trent Fredrickson, Walker, and Blake Timm one each. Lorman, Travis Brown and Matt Hellickson each made three assists and Weber two. Maxwell made 7 saves in his second whitewash of the weekend.  North Branch goalie had 48 saves.

The Royals will play at Osseo on Tuesday.
