Standout goaltender skips juniors, Division III to take shot with Bulldogs

Christian Gaffy, coming off a standout senior season at Forest Lake, has decided on playing at the University of Minnesota-Duluth next season as a walk-on over other options that included teams in Division III and the North American Hockey League.

The Bulldogs were left with just two goaltenders this spring when Brady Hjelle decided to return to the USHL rather than play his sophomore season at UMD.
