The high school boys’ hockey season is already a week-and-a-half old, but some teams won't face their first opponents until Tuesday night.

This week's collection of top games contains the list of usual suspects, along with some northern exposure, as many programs to get out and do some traveling early in the season.

Lakeville North, however, begins its trek to repeat as Class 2A champions at home as it opens the season against a Stillwater program lacking a storied history but rich and ripe with talented players.

Tuesday night offers the Panthers and Ponies a chance to see how they measure up and is our pick for the Top Game of the Week.
