Early goals lead to big BSM road win.

Ryan Bischel stopped all 21 shots he faced to earn his first career shutout.

BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- Jerry Calengor, Cade Gleekel and Auggie Moore each scored a pair of goals and Benilde-St. Margaret's routed Burnsville, 7-0.

The Red Knights got on the scoreboard just two minutes, 46 seconds into the game when a loose puck got kicked out in front of the Blaze goal and Peter Moran slammed home the puck for a 1-0 BSM lead.

The visitors added to the lead less than three minutes later when Nick Austin collected a loose puck in the neutral zone and fed it to Moore, who stepped around a Burnsville defenseman and put a shot underneath Blaze goalie Nick Lee.

Gleekel extended the lead to 3-0 barely one minute into the second period as Bronson McLeod tipped a puck off the left-wing boards. Gleekel carried the puck into the bottom of the left circle before beating Lee for the Red Knights' third goal.

Moore's second goal came at 6:39 of the second period as when Stefan Garcia carried the puck into the Burnsville zone on the right side before sliding a pass across the slot to Moore, whose goal finished Lee and brought on Josh Kenney in goal.

Kenney gave up the fifth Red Knight goal while his team was on the power play. His attempt to clear a dump in wound up on Calengor's stick and he stepped around the Blaze goalie to make the score 5-0.

It took the visitors just 55 seconds into the final period to send the game into running time when Gleekel scored his second goal of the game off Austin's second assist and Calengor finished the scoring with 7:41 to play in the game.

Overlooked in the BSM scoring outburst was the play of goalie Ryan Bischel, who made 21 saves to record the first shutout of his three-year career. The junior netminder saw his goals against average fall to 1.27 while his save percentage went up to .949 in the victory.

Up next for the Red Knights is their fifth consecutive road game, Thursday, at fourth-ranked Hill-Murray. The opening faceoff at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood is slated for 7:30 p.m.
