Brigino earns sixth shutout in win over Storm.

VICTORIA, Minn. -- Joe Collins and Dylan Hoen both had a goal and two assists while Alex Brigino made 22 saves for his sixth shutout of the season as the Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity posted a 5-0 win over Chanhassen.

The Red Knights got off to a fast start by scoring twice in the game's first two minutes, getting the goals from their top line of Collins, Hoen and Luke Coughlin.

Hoen's goal came after he won a faceoff in the Storm zone and, after it went to Collins and then Coughlin, it came back to Hoen seven seconds later and, just 50 seconds into the contest, he gave his team a 1-0 lead.

Two shifts and 64 seconds later, it was Coughlin finishing off a chance set up by Collins and Hoen.

Adding onto the fast start, Nathan Clark then scored a power-play goal at 6:41 and, before the first period was half over, the visitors held a 3-0 lead.

After being outshot, 8-1, early in the game, Chanhassen came out in the second period and controlled much of the play but it was Jordan Roo collecting the game's fourth goal with 4:58 to play in the middle frame.

With Brigino, in the midst of his 22-save shutout effort, the game appeared to be headed the Red Knights' was and, just for good measure, with 2:39 to play, Collins converted BSM's final power-play chance to finish the scoring.

For the Red Knights, now 16-3-2 on the season, there are two weeks and four games remaining on the schedule. Next up will be the second of three consecutive trips to face Southwest Metro foes as they will be at Chaska, Thursday, beginning at 5 p.m.
