St. Cloud man hangs up skates after life of hockey

Jim Chisholm reflects back on hockey-infused life

Hockey has been at the center of Jim Chisholm's life for all 72 years he has lived.

After playing high-school hockey at St. Cloud Tech in the 1950s - when hockey in Central Minnesota wasn't as popular as it is today - Chisholm led the efforts to revive the sport in the region including leading several youth and amateur programs as well as successfully campaigning to build the Municipal Athletic Complex in 1972.

Now the 72-year-old has decided to hang up his skates and put his stick away for good.
