Detroit Lakes' Nate Baker fills void for Lakers

After losing last year's state leading scorer Tanner Lane to the USHL, Detroit Lakes needed a player to step in and fill his skates.

Nate Baker has answered the call and currently has 17 points (12 goals, 5 assists) through six games.

Although he has a long way to go to equal Lane's 2009-2010 season total of 90 points (49 goals, 41 assists), Baker - a senior forward - is off to a great start.
