Eisenmenger has six points as Eagles down Cardinals Dec. 24, 2010

WINDOM - Adam Eisenmenger had a six-point game as the Windom Area boys hockey team beat Fairmont 9-4 in nonconference play Thursday at Windom City Arena.

Eisenmenger had five goals and an assist for the Eagles, who are now 2-4 on the season. Two of Eisenmenger's goals came while the Eagles were shorthanded late in the second period. Windom Area scored three goals in each period.

Mitch Baumhoefner had a goal and three assists for a four-point effort, Justin Cook and Brett Larson each had a goal and an assist, Kyle Tasler had a goal and Joe Voth had two assists.

Ben Stubbe made 37 save in goal for the Eagles.

Dan Cole had two goals and an assist for the Cardinals (1-5). Brady Junkermeier and Jacob Lemon scored the other goals.

Cody Harder made four saves in the first period, with Kyle Engstrom playing the final two periods and making 12 saves.

Windom Area goes to the Waseca tournament Tuesday-Thursday, while Fairmont plays at Willmar Monday-Wednesday.
